Anti covid-19 measures

PREMISE: 

 

Following the recently emerged health emergency from "COVID-19", the Hospitality Hotel has decided to put in place a detailed series of procedures and equipment aimed at limiting the potential spread of the offending virus.

In doing so, account was taken of the main directives issued by WHO, which recalls that the transmission of COVID-19 can take place essentially in the following ways:

 

  • Directly , through the spread of suspended saliva droplets, near infected people or through direct contact with these people;
  • Indirectly , through contact with surfaces contaminated by infected people, which are touched and then brought to the nose, mouth or eyes.

 

In light of what is communicated, we remind you that any practice of containing COVID-19 cannot ignore the three fundamental pillars that each of us knows well, namely: social distancing, correct hand and respiratory hygiene (we ask to cough or sneeze in the crease of the elbow).

 

PROTECTION DEVICES:

 

In order to limit the spread of COVID-19 within the hotel as much as possible, the structure has the following protective devices:

 

  • Automatic dispensers with photocell for dispensing disinfectant gel, located at the hotel entrance, the breakfast-buffet area, the internal courtyard, the first floor corridor, the employees' changing room;
  • Latex masks and gloves;
  • Protective plexiglass barrier at the reception desk;
  • Protective separation barrier for tables in the breakfast room;
  • Ozone generators for chamber sanitization;
  • Disposable bags for remote controls;
  • Sanitizing device for small frequently handled objects (keys, telephones, pens etc ...)
  • Disposable gowns for emergencies;
  • Visors for eye protection in emergencies;
  • Infrared thermometer;
  • Information signage.

 

CONTAINMENT MEASURES FOR GUESTS:

 

Each guest upon entering must comply with the following provisions and / or procedures:

 

  • Entrance to the hotel will be allowed to one person at a time or family unit at a time; therefore kind customers are asked to access the reception respecting this principle and waiting for their turn at a safe distance;
  • Wear your own mask of any type (if you do not have one, you can request it at the reception, as an extra service);
  • Sanitize your hands at the entrance and more generally when deemed appropriate, through the special dispensers located in the different areas of the hotel;
  • In full respect of the privacy of each guest and making scrupulously controlled use of the acquired data, each hotel guest will be asked to provide information about their health status, the origin and any risk contacts made before their arrival. ;
  • At the end of the check-in operations and in any case whenever you interact with the reception, the use of hand sanitizer gel is required;
  • The delivery of the keys will take place in maximum security as they have been previously sanitized;
  • Before entering the hotel rooms, each guest must sanitize their hands using the appropriate dispensers, to avoid potential contamination of the external door handles (carefully sanitized by the cleaning staff before delivery);
  • To further limit the risk of infection during breakfast, all breakfasts must be made in your room (without extra charges).

 

 

 

 

CONTAINMENT MEASURES FOR EMPLOYEES:

 

Each employee will implement the following provisions, by virtue of the task they perform.

 

  • When entering the hotel, take the following: mask, latex gloves (where possible);
  • Every hour of work each employee must change the gloves worn and / or sanitize them (through the use of the appropriate dispensers with disinfectant gel), where the gloves are not used, hand sanitization must be more frequent;
  • Hand sanitization must take place whenever the employee comes into contact with potentially contaminated objects;
  • The cleaners will continue to operate with the same dynamics and accuracy previously used, with the difference that, at the end of the ordinary room cleaning operations, they will have to sanitize them through the use of the special machinery for the generation of ozone by setting the appropriate program. It should be specified that the ozone sanitization operations must be carried out ONLY for the rooms leaving, and that during the same the rooms must be carefully locked and the appropriate tags must be placed to inhibit access;
  • Before starting the ozone treatment cycles, the staff must make sure to open drawers, wardrobes and internal doors, so that the ozone flow can reach every space in the room to sanitize it;
  • At the end of the sanitation cycle, the employee, after careful hand sanitation, will return to the room to close doors, drawers and cabinets and to take the ozone machine. On leaving the room, he will take care to carefully clean the external handle of the entrance door.
  • The handling of the kits, whether processed in the hotel or from external structures, must take place after the hands and all the tools used have been sanitized, including the trolleys for transporting them to the room;
  • The hygienization of the elevators and the handrails of the stairs will be carried out at least once a day, with specific products.

 

 

SPECIAL SANITIZATION PROCEDURES:

 

With a view to reassuring our customers about the hygiene and sanitization of the hotel rooms, the hotel has decided to equip itself with special machines for generating ozone. 
Ozone is a powerful natural disinfectant that does not release chemical residues of any kind and whose use is highly recommended by the health authorities for the sanitation of environments and surfaces. The ozone generator used by us provides processing cycles that end with the automatic conversion of the ozone itself into oxygen. Therefore, the procedures put in place are not in the least harmful to health. The only precaution to be respected for both staff and guests will be to not enter the room during the sanitization process; For this purpose, information cards will be placed on the door handles in order to inform users and staff about the presence of ongoing ozonation procedures. 
The same treatment will be carried out once a day, both in the breakfast-buffet area and in the reception-bar area, after isolating the premises.

 

 

HOTEL ACTION PLAN IN THE MANAGEMENT OF POTENTIAL COVID-19 CASES:

 

If symptoms related to an acute respiratory infection are observed, the hotel staff will immediately take all measures to minimize contact between the sick person and other people (guests and staff) who are in the facility. The reception and all staff will follow the following procedures foolishly:

  • Separate people with symptoms at least 2 meters away from other people;
  • If the customer is already a room owner, he will be invited to stay in the room until the health authorities have given more precise indications;
  • Inform the health authorities about the presence of the suspected or confirmed case by calling the emergency telephone numbers: 112 or 1500 ;
  • If the situation requires it, and the sick person is not transferred to a hospital or medical center, the hotel will take care of the guest adequately;
  • The infected customer will have to park exclusively in his room and the staff must ensure that this occurs;
  • The sick person will be required to wear protective masks and to comply with all the rules of behavior that such a case imposes. If the medical device is not available or tolerated by the person concerned, a tissue can be used to cover the mouth. Such disposable fabrics and devices must be treated as "hazardous waste", placed in special bags or in intact plastic containers. Hand washing with water and soap or alcohol-based products is always recommended;
  • In assisting the subject who shows fever, persistent cough, difficulty breathing, you must always use additional protection: disposable gowns, gloves, masks and eye protection; 
  • Gently and carefully remove the used personal protections, to avoid the risk of contaminating yourself. The correct procedure is to first remove the gloves and gown, and then sanitize your hands. Then remove the mask and the eye protection, and wash your hands again with soap and water or alcohol; 
  • Properly dispose of all disposable items that have been in contact with the body fluids of the sick person, always considering them "hazardous waste".
